Bhaluani (Deoria): On the auspicious occasion of Republic Day, a grand felicitation ceremony was organised at Durgawati Devi Educational Institute, located in Karuana village of the Bhaluani area. During the programme, meritorious and disciplined students were honoured with awards for their outstanding performance in academics, cultural activities and other fields. The event aimed to strengthen the spirit of patriotism, discipline and a sense of responsibility among students.
The chief guest of the programme, Santosh Maddheshia Vaishya, Founder of Swachh Bhaluani Swasth Bhaluani Youth Brigade, addressed the students and said that students are the true future of the nation. He emphasised that if students make discipline, values and hard work the foundation of their lives, they can bring pride not only to their families and institutions but also to the entire country. He also urged the youth to actively contribute to social cleanliness, public health and nation-building.
Special guest Manoj Kumar Maddheshia encouraged students to pursue education with confidence and clarity of purpose. He said that education should not be limited to degrees alone, but must also reflect in one’s behaviour, thinking and sense of social responsibility.
Another distinguished guest, Vijay Upadhyay, highlighted the importance of perseverance and continuous effort. He advised students to set clear goals in life and move forward with dedication and determination to carve out a distinct identity.
The ceremony was further enriched by patriotic songs, cultural performances and captivating dance presentations by the students, which won appreciation from the audience. The entire campus resonated with slogans of “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” and “Vande Mataram”, creating an atmosphere filled with national pride.
The programme was efficiently conducted by teacher Suresh Pandey, who welcomed the guests, expressed gratitude to all attendees and appreciated the collective efforts of the school staff in making the event a success. Teachers, parents and a large number of students were present on the occasion.
